WAFU 2017: Emmanuel Lomotey Wins Man Of The Match Against Niger

Black Stars B midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey was named Man of the Match in the 2-0 victory over Niger in the semifinal of the WAFU Cup at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday.

The Dreams FC enforcer, who joined Spanish second tier side UD Extremadura last week, exhibited a superb performance for the Black Stars as he quelled off the Menas of Niger incessant attacks.

Lomotey created Ghana's second goal of the evening as his shot across ball was connected by Stephen Sarfo.

The lanky midfielder becomes the fourth Ghana player after captain Isaac Twum, Thomas Abbey and Winful Cobbinah to win such award.
