Just call her iHillary.

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton suggested that she was a robot in an interview with Buzzfeed's podcast Another Round, when the interviewers asked the presidential candidate why she 'never' sweats.

'You guys are the first to realize that I'm really not even a human being,' Clinton joked. 'I was constructed in a garage in Palo Alto a very long time ago.'

Hillary Clinton joked that she was created by 'a man who shall remain nameless' in a Palo Alto garage many years ago

Hillary Clinton joked that she was created by 'a man who shall remain nameless' in a Palo Alto garage many years ago

'People think that, you know, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs they created it. Oh no. I mean, a man who shall remain nameless created me in his garage,' the candidate continued.

Clinton has done a number of more personal interviews in recent weeks as a strategy to pull up her poll numbers. As part of that, she's been trying to put on display her sense of humor, as evidenced by her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live.

With Buzzfeed, she started the conversation by acting surprised when one of the podcast hosts asked her why she doesn't sweat.

'My secret is just you do it so often,' she said of being in front of cameras and hot TV lights and stage lights. 'You didn't see me 40 years ago when I did my first ones, right?'

Then things made a turn for the weird.

'I don't mean sweat because you're nervous,' another Buzzfeed reporter asked. 'I just mean physically, I'm genuinely curious what your deodorant is.'

The former secretary of state replied that she was pro the solid block deodorant.

Then Clinton was asked what the weirdest thing about her is.

'The weirdest thing about me is that I don't sweat,' Clinton replied.

After joking that she was a robot, Clinton continued down that path.

'I thought he threw away the plans, at least that's what he told me when he programmed me – that there would be no more,' Clinton said. 'I've seen more people that kind of don't sweat, and other things, that make me think maybe they are part of a new race that he created: the robot race.'

'So there's a cyborg army is what you're saying?' one of the interviewers replied.

'But you have to cut this, you can't tell anybody this,' Clinton said. 'I don't want anybody to know this. This has been a secret until, here we are in Davenport, Iowa, and I'm just spillin' my electronic guts to you.'

And, one of the Buzzfeed reporters said, Clinton had admitted to being a robot without having consumed any bourbon.

'Without any bourbon,' Clinton acknowledged. 'That's why I have to wait 'til the end of the day.'

The joke appeared to be another attempt to humanize Hillary, who polls have found to lack likability.

Earlier this month, Clinton made her Saturday Night Live debut and played a bartender named Val, in a skit that got positive reception from her supporters.

Daughter Chelsea Clinton especially loved her mom's appearance.

'I think my mom's really funny,' she said. 'And I'm grateful that America is seeing more of that.'
