13 Lines Angry Sarkodie Used to Diss M.anifest on ‘Kanta’ Track Sarkodie

If you are in Ghana and you’ve not heard of the trending beef between Sarkodie and Manifest, then perhaps you are not an entertainment person. It would be recalled that Sarkodie released a track titled “Bossy” in which he took a swipe at other rappers in the country. Most people were of the opinion that, the track was a diss song to EL but unfortunately, EL didn’t respond.

Then Manifest released a tune titled “godMC” in which he also took a swipe at Sarkodie and other Ghanaian acts.  A line from the lyrics of the song “What’s a king to a godMC?” is one of the many few lines from the song that has angered Sarkodie soo much. Sarkodie claims to be the King of Rap and we are pretty sure, he found that punch very insulting, because we know it’s God who chooses a king. So what’s a king to a godMC? You can be a king, but I am the god….LOL

Just last night (July 3rd, 2016) Sarkodie dropped another tune titled “Kanta” which is a refix of the famous song “Panda” and it’s obvious that song, was made for Manifest. Sarkodie dissed Manifest in a way, that anyone who hears the song could tell, he was angry and very emotional when recording the song. He’s angry not just because Manifest questioned who he was but because of a line from godMc which says “Call the fashion police, they can make an arrest, these boys copying the west, looking a mess, it’s retarded”

So we’ve listened to Sarkodie’s new song Kanta and these lines from the song in a way proved Sarkodie was unnceccsairily emotional and has no serious punches. The thing about Sarkodie is that, he’s a versatile artiste and majority of people understand his raps unlike Manifest, whom you have to think harder before getting the meaning of what he says in his rap.

1.OBI B3 DISSI MI AA NA 3NY3 RAPPER 0DI GTP NTUMA PAM KABA

And he even mentioned this one twice in the song. What is his problem if someone decides to wear African fabrics all the time? He went ahead to even mention that, Manifest has no swag and lacks good clothes, that’s why he relies on GTP, claiming he’s being Afrocentric.

2.TORTORFIFI WANNA DISS, THEY BEAT AROUND THE BUSH, ONUA WU Y3 BITCH

He calls Manifest an amateur rapper who wants to diss him. He goes ahead to say that, he (Manifest) beats around the bush in his rap and calls him a bi*tch

3.MIA MIFILI WU FLOW NAN SU KA NOKR3, WU NI KROM TIS3 ATOM

Sarkodie reveals that he admires Manifest but his kind of raps and songs are not exciting and don’t make hits. He dares him to admit the fact that his songs are not that nice.

4.Sark nor go diss u for nothing, neggar already you suffering

Sarkodie claims he has no interest in dissing Manifest because he’s already suffering with his musical career.

5.MI WASTE MI FLOW 3N DISSI ON A NEW BEAT AND PAY FOR PRODUCTION.

And there’s more bragging. He discloses that, Manifest does not deserve to be dissed on a fresh beat that he will have to pay for that’s why he decided to use the instrumentals of “Panda” for “Kanta”

6.I HELPED YOU FOR FREE BUT FRI 3N3 3KO, WE WILL BE WORKING PRO BONO

Sarkodie discloses that he helped Manifest for free without taking a dime. We don’t know what exactly he’s done for Manifest. We know they were supposed to release a song in 2014 but it was never released. Perhaps he’s saying that, he didn’t take a dime for that feature and henceforth if he wants something from him, he will have to pay. I doubt Sarkodie even knows the meaning of Pro bono.

7.I GAVE YOU THE HIGHEST RETWEET, GAVE YOU SOME BARS ON THE STREETS.

Sarkodie is talking about the time he retweeted their photo in the studio when they were recording their song. That photo trended on Social media for a long time. Sark is claiming he made that possible because of his huge following.

8. MI FEATURE WU TWICE ALL YOU DENY CLAIM, YOU NOT IN YOUR ZONE

Sarkodie reveals that, he’s featured Manifest twice but each time it was his(Manifest) turn to record the song, he gives the excuse that, he’s not in the mood to flow.

9.AT LEAST I GAVE YOU SOME MILEAGE, JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE IT, DON’T BE DISRESPECTFUL, YOUR FANS GO DRY ALWAYS PUSH YOU TO PROVE IT.

And there’s more bragging here. He claims, he’s made Manifest more popular and that he shouldn’t even dare to record another song to reply because his fans are deceiving him.

10.Ma big wu up for the summer, all I needed back was a Thank you

Sarkodie was referring to the end of the “Bossy” song in which he gave Manifest a shout out by using his term “M….ti Dot” to end the track. Sarkodie wanted Manifest to have tweeted and called him thanking him for that and not to release a diss song to reply him.

11.AKOA WEI NI BROFU AK3SE3, FAKO LECTURE W0 LEGON, PUNCH DIERR O PUNCH ,NA SO 3T0 ASAASE JI KIOSK WO KLAGON.

Okay, this one Sarkodie is a bit jealous. Does anyone stop him from doing same? He says Manifest’s big grammar in his song will not be able to buy a piece of land but some kiosk in some isolated environment.

12.HOW CAN I RAP TO THE WORLD WHILE YOU RAP TO YOUR FRIENDS.

He feels Manifest’s kind of rap is not for the general public and just some selected fews.

13. SESIA MA DANI PHILANTHROPIST, GIVING YOU HYPE FOR FREE

He says he’s giving Manifest free hype by just even releasing this song. He intends to tell us Manifest has no fame like him.
