Oxy 9Alfred Kwame Larbi claims KABA made lots of enemies for doing a great job in the media landscape

Controversial radio owner and entertainment critic, Alfred Kwame Larbi aka DJ Oxygen, has alleged that the reason why some individuals tormented and frustrated the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong popularly called KABA, was the influence and how well he connected with politicians.

He said because the late KABA was extremely good at his work, politicians especially those in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), wanted to use him for their bidding.

"The NDC; when John Dramani Mahama was in power, there was a meeting that was held with KABA. At that meeting, there were two other presenters but I will not mention their names.

It was only KABA who was from multimedia but the other two good morning show hosts were from other stations. The NDC said, although Radio Gold was projecting the NDC, we needed another neutral platform to project the NDC.

If you think I am lying, you will realize that KABA gave the NDC opportunity on his show but was balanced. That is why you saw Ibrahim Mahama at the funeral. That was why Julius Debrah [Former Chief of Staff] cried.

His tears were not crocodile tears. KABA became part of that plan and received a lot of gifts. That is why he started experiencing frustration and hatred at multimedia. They hated him," he stressed.

According to him, there are some people shedding crocodile tears at the demise of KABA but failed to mention their names.
