Ayew, 29 is currently on loan with Turkish topflight outfit Fenerbache, having bagged five goals in 15 appearances.

The Chinese Super League has been the destination for some of the big-name players in the European leagues namely Yannick Carrasco, Javier Mascherano, Ramires, Oscar, Ighalo, Demba Ba, Paulinho, Graziano Pelle, John Obi Mikel, etc.

The former Olympique Marseille forward was an instant hit at Swansea City from the French Ligue 1, winning the Premier League Player for the month of August in 2015. He emerged as Swansea City top scorer at the end of the season.

The Swans cashed in on him when he joined West Ham United for a 20.5-million-pound deal, but he failed to replicate his form in the previous season and was sold back to the Welsh outfit.

Swansea City, however, suffered relegation and he was loaned to Fenerbache in the Turkish Super Ligue.
