A plea to bin poisonous and evil rubbish, a 'slave meter' to order on a restaurant menu, and a supermarket sign saying 'f*** vegetables'.

These are just some of the hilarious word mix-ups as a result of slightly skewed Chinese to English translations which have been shared on Instagram.

With accidental swearing and a toilet which needs 'flashing', the ill-advised wordings have been shared under the #Chinglish hashtag.
