Chelsea Clinton opted for classic black to take the stage at Glamour magazine's Women of the Year Live Summit, and when it came to choosing heels to match her outfit, she turned to her favorite pair of damaged nude pumps.

The 37-year-old, who was named Glamour Woman of the Year in 2014, donned a simple, yet elegant A-line dress featuring scallop detailing on the bodice and hem for the event that was held at the Brooklyn Museum on Monday.

Chelsea accessorized her look with a delicate gold necklace and her favorite patent leather pumps, which looked incredibly torn up after numerous wears over the last few months.

The rather shredded heels appear to be the Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation's go-to shoe, as she has been photographed wearing them to numerous events over the past year.

Each shoe has several tears on the heel, which were all the more visible later on in the day when Chelsea wore them for another appearance, this time while visiting the set of Extra in Manhattan.

The second event was much closer to home for Chelsea who lives on Madison Avenue, where she and her husband, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, are raising their children Charlotte, three, and Aidan, one, in a luxury four-bedroom apartment that they purchased for $10.5 million back in 2013.

However, she is far more frugal when it comes to fashion.

Chelsea has been wearing her beloved nude heels for over a year, and she stood in those very shoes when she brought her father, Bill, to tears as she praised her mother, Hillary, at the 2016 Democratic National Convention where she accepted the party's nomination for president.

She wore them a few months later on November 9, a day after her mother lost the election to President Donald Trump, as she returned home following her mother's concession speech.

In April, Chelsea was spotted again wearing those same shoes while attending the City Harvest: Evening of Practical Magic Gala in New York.

And the pumps looked particularly destroyed when she wore them to attend the Gordon Parks Foundation Awards dinner in June.

Although her heels threw off her otherwise polished look, Chelsea was all smiles as she posed for photos ahead of the Live Summit.

Chelsea later took the stage with transgender actress Laverne Cox and journalist Alex Wagner at 9:30 a.m. for a session on 'How to Persist and Repeat.'

During the chat, Chelsea recalled what it was like growing up with two politically-minded parents.

'I was expected to have opinions and views about what I thought was right and what I thought was wrong,' she said.

After school, she would have mock debates with her parents over dinner.

'I had strong feelings about school lunches, unsurprisingly,' she joked, but she noted that experience helped her understand what politics should be like compared to how it 'actually is.'

'So much of our political discourse is not about solutions,' she explained.

Chelsea went on to say that she wants to see the country move to a place where racism and sexism are no longer considered opinions.

'When you're denying someone their equal humanity and dignity, that's not an opinion,' she said.

Glamour's Live Summit also featured sessions with Jenna Lyons, the former president and executive creative director of the J.Crew group, and models Ashley Graham and Cameron Russell.

Later this evening, the publication will hold its 27th annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards, which honors female trailblazers.

This year's nominees include Nicole Kidman, Solange Knowles and Gigi Hadid.

It is already shaping up to be a busy week for Chelsea and her mother, Hillary, who spoke at the The Child Mind Institute Summit on Monday while she was at the Glamour event.

Hillary, who suffered a broken toe after a fall in London last month, kept her foot protected in a medical walking boot.
